Paralyzed aristocrat Philippe, who became disabled after a crash wants to hire an assistant, who must take care of him. One of the candidates, the black guy Driss don't need a job - he wants a written refusal to receive unemployment benefits. But suddenly Philip hires him. Native of Senegal with criminal tendencies who loves marijuana, women and rhythmic music, has no good manners at all. He is rude, tactless, but spontaneity attracts Philip. Unexpected alliance is exactly what Philip need. Having no compassion Driss does not pay attention to his illness and opens a new life for Philip. The film is based on true story. 

FACT. Philip Pozzo di Borgo (real person of Philippe character) insisted on that the movie was the comedy, instead of the drama. He didn't want the movie based on his life became compassion and pity history.

FACT. This is the last film by British genius director Richard Griffiths. 

• Hitch
